We reached Jabalpur early in the morning at 4 am and the hotelier allowed us to check in at such an odd hour which is really appreciable. They also arranged a free pickup for us from the Jabalpur railway station. The only thing is you need to book directly with them and not through some online travel portal. Charges are at par too. So far so good. They gave us two adjacent rooms in the 4th floor. Rooms were small, bedsheets tainted and torn. They do take a lot of time for room service and their breakfast is quite costly. We were neither overwhelmed with the hotel nor disgusted. It would have all been a happy ending only till thr last morning of check out when the desk refused to offer us tea and breakfast since we had our check out on a 24 hour basis. Still overall it is a good deal.

Location is very good. Heart of the city and market area. Rooms are OK, Hot and Cold water facility. It is better to order breakfast 30mins before because it takes time. Since maximum time you will stay outside local tour and Indian coffee house and other restaurants are near to it so you may can stay here at reasonable price. They also provide pick-up /drop facility by prior intimation. They also can arrange car/traveler for local city tour.

One of the worst hotel I have stayed in my life. Room service is pathetic. Had ordered for just sandwich and cornflakes which was served after 45 mins. Had asked for bathing soap on which the staff told its kept in a room where there is guest and therefore cannot disturb them.Had asked for an extra pillow which wasn’t given till check out.. Pathetic hotel will not suggest anyone to stay

We stayed overnight on 29/09/17 in the “famed” Room# 305 at Hotel Swyam, Jabalpur. What do we say about the stay, excellent? Worthy & justifiable value for the money? Or simply nothing could be better. Through this message I want to convey my heartfelt thanks to the Management team of the hotel (Madam, her Son & others) & specially mention about Mr. Laxminarayan for his exemplary good, cooperating & nice behavior. While leaving we had ordered packed dinner for the next lap of our journey. Food was excellent – complete with raw onions, pickle, disposable paper plates, spoons & tissue. We stayed here for two different nights with two rooms each time. On 2.4.17 they have upgraded one room. The hotel is city centre. Old but well maintained property with lift also. Nice management and good facility. Small rooms yet with basic facility. They need to improve room service especially for food-breakfast service. Owner of hotel is a madam who is well cooperative. Overall a good stay.
